I went live last night on Tic Tok. I was really tired and pretty exhausted from being ill during the day and being nauseated , but felt I was to do it because of the very positive response from teens as we prayed together.
I had prayed about the going Live session and asked the Lord for a scripture to give them. This was new. I usually play my own compositions, give an original recipe , and share a true story from an archive of memories. The most exciting is praying with the young people for salvation, or rededicating their lives to the Lord.
But the Holy Spirit must have put it on my heart so I prayed and asked. Almost immediately the answer came.”Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Ps. 37
I almost questioned, then thought okay.
During the opening of the Live stream I shared the scripture, prayed and went on to play some original compositions. When I began to pray with them for salvation, all at once I heard “ The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord and He delights in their way.”
So I told the audience with a gasp and excitement what I had just heard. As I shared the second scripture, the Holy Spirit highlighted the first scripture and highlighted the word delight. In Nancy fashion I became very excited about the cross reference, and said “what a coincidence” it was.
I shared the Lord was speaking to us and how the example went from us delighting in the Lord, to Him delighting in us. He delights, we delight and visa vera. Wow! That was so cool. The Lord just gave us a download of His love right on TikTok LOL. Then I explained that that transaction goes both ways and forms a cross. It was a beautiful example of the Lord breaking through the supernatural, and showing His bountiful care and His love.
It was a wonderful way to pray to meet the Lord and totally surrender to Him.
I can not tell you what a trill and adventure it is to serve the Lord. He is so faithful. The more I continue to open my own heart to Him, the more of His grace I see. What a time to live for the Lord, when it's dark in the world, Shine as lights. Lord, please help us to shine brighter in a very dark world and bring many to You.
